New York City October 2019 Events

The air just got a little cooler in New York City and we’re feeling the change of the seasons. Summer may be over but this only means more to do in the city.

New York Food and Wine Festival, October 10 - 13

It’s a weekend of panel talks, private dinners, wine tastings, and more. We love there’s a category of events under $100. There’s no need to break the bank for great food experiences.

Ultimate Corn Maze in NYC, now until October 26th

Don’t think you’ll just be strolling through this corn maze. Be prepared for 3 acres of interactive puzzles and clues to guide you through to the end.

Museums, all month

October is the month for new exhibits at MoMa, Guggenheim, Metropolitan, The Met Beuer, and others. Minimalist, modernist painters, installations, contemporary works...one of the new exhibits is bound to grab your attention. Check the individual museum websites for more information.

Ghost Tours, all month

In the ‘spirit’ of the month, take a Ghosts of New York walking tour. All October, the Edgar Allen Poe tour guides you around Washington Square Park which sits on top of an old cemetery. Spooky!

Hockey Game, multiple dates

New York has two teams: Islanders and Rangers. Games are played at Madison Square Garden and Brooklyn’s Barclay Center. Insider tip: make sure to visit the stadium websites to review their rules on what types of bags and items are allowed in.
