Music, Culture, Food and Pride!

June in NYC is all about the outdoors. Here’s how we’re celebrating the start of summer (officially June 21st):

Welcome to the summer concert series of the season: SummerStage. Crossing all five boroughs, experience free concerts for all music type lovers at parks and outdoor spaces in NYC. No time like the present to visit their website and start planning your weekend.

Within the streets of 82nd and 110th, along 5th Avenue, you’ll find a mile of museums at your disposal for FREE on June 11th. Starting 6pm to 9pm, special festivities and exhibits will be be available to visitors. Going to miss the Museum Mile Festival? It may not be a free day but here’s our guide to visiting Museum Mile any time of the year.

Lobster Cruise! Do you like seafood, beer, and sunshine? Take a cruise on NYC’s only floating lobster shack. Open 7 days a week, book your cruising time for brunch, lunch or dinner to feast on seafood (or ‘Landlubbers’ options if fish isn’t your jam). A fun way to celebrate the warm days ahead.

Teleport back in time on Governors Island for a 1920’s Lawn Party. Change up your weekend plans by teleporting back in time. Governors Island hosts a 1920’s Lawn Party two weekends this summer starting June 15th. Rouge your lips, brush off your suspenders and start hop on the ferry to Governors Island for Jazz, an Aperol Spritz and dancing.

We can’t talk about June events without talking about Pride weekend in NYC. AND this year WORLDPRIDE 2019 comes to NYC to mark the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. What a great way to end the month - with L-O-V-E. June 28 - 30th.
