Things to Do in March

In case you need some ideas for New York City attractions, here’s our list of what’s going on this month in March. Take advantage of staying at a midtown New York City hotel and be walking distance from these events:

Sample Season
End of February/beginning of March kicks off sample season - one of the best ‘secrets’ of New York City. With sales popping up weekly, you’ll be sure to catch a sale no matter when you visit.

March Madness
Madison Square Garden hosts the Big East Men’s Tournament and Barclay Center in Brooklyn hosts the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Macy’s Flower Show
While the weather is still cold, head inside for the Macy’s Flower Show and view stunning arrangements fit to various themes.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
What’s march without a parade and green beer? No early start here, the festivities start at 11am and continue through 5pm. If driving through the city on March 16, make sure to check for street closures.
