General
Check-in at Park Central New York is at 4:00 PM. Check Out is at 12:00 PM.
Park Central Hotel New York is committed to providing its guests and associates with a smoke free environment. Smoking tobacco, pipes, vapes, e-cigarettes and marijuana is strictly prohibited within the hotel. By booking through this website, you acknowledge that the hotel has installed smoking detection sensors in its rooms. These sensors enable hotel management to respond to smoking events without disrupting your stay. You hereby agree and consent to the use of such sensor in your room and acknowledge and agree that it is 100% privacy compliant and required by the hotel to ensure a smoke-free stay for all guests. By acknowledging the foregoing, you agree to waive any future claims related to the presence of the sensor in a room you may book. Tampering with the sensor is strictly prohibited. A non-refundable $500 smoking fee will apply should a smoking event occur inside the hotel guestroom.
Park Central New York is a pet-friendly hotel. We welcome pets for a fee of $150 + tax per room per stay. Pets are not to be left unattended in the rooms and on hotel property. Guests will be required to agree to Pet Policy and sign an agreement upon check-in.
- Pets weighing over 75 lbs. are not allowed on the property
- Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier while in any public area
- Except for service animals, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, we do not permit pets in the lounge/restaurant.
- Emotional Support animals are also not permitted in the lounge / restaurant since they do not qualify as a service animal as defined under the ADA
We have a full Fitness Center on property, located on the third floor of our hotel, which includes state-of-the-art fitness bikes, treadmills, free weights, and weight machines.
We have business center services in our lobby, including iMacs and a digital that allows guests to view flights & print boarding passes, check directions to various points of interests, and more.
We accept packages that are sent to the hotel, which will be stored in our package room in the lobby. The fee is $10 per package, which covers boxes, sleeves, plastic wrapping, tubes etc.
We hold luggage before check in time and after check out time, up to about 10:30pm. No overnight storage.
21 years. All guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
While our guest rooms do not come equipped with coffeemakers as a standard amenity, they are available upon request. To arrange delivery, please contact our Guest Relations team at extension 4401.
We will certainly switch out to Hypo Allergenic bedding on request.
The Park Central Hotel New York mandatory Destination Fee priced at $42.00 plus tax per room, per night which provides guests with the following services, amenities and added value offerings:
- 10% discount on any food items purchased at Twenty-Sevens, our in-house Bar/Lounge
- 10% discount on Big Bus Double Decker Uptown/Downtown City Tours
- 10% at Trattoria Dell’Arte Restaurant
- 10% at Playa Bowls Carnegie Hall
- 10% at Mure & Grand our store-front fashion outlet
- Unlimited use of Apple workstations with printing, faxing, and scanning available through our Guest Relations Team
- 1-hour complimentary bike rental at Fancy Apple Bike Rental with the purchase of 2 hours.
The Destination Fee is not inclusive of service gratuities.
Restaurant opening times and menus might change, due to government regulations.
Debit and credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the entire amount of your stay, plus $100 per day to cover incidentals. The system will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. The original authorization amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
The destination fee of $40.00 + tax is taken out of the $100.00 per night deposit, therefore the guest will not receive the original deposit back. The balance of the funds will be released.
Park Central Hotel offers exclusive discounted self-parking rates for guests at the partnered iPark garage, located at 300 W. 55th Street. Rates are $42 for sedans, $52 for SUVs, and $62 for oversize vehicles (including tax). The new Oversize rate applies to self-parking for extra-large SUVs and trucks like the F-150, Escalade, and select vans. Standard board rates at the garage are $65 for sedans, $75 for SUVs, and $90 for oversize (plus 18.375% tax), meaning Park Central guests enjoy a significant discount. To access these special rates, guests should validate their parking ticket at the front desk.
Valet parking is not offered at this time.
Yes, standard Wi-Fi is complementary included with the destination fee for up to 4 devices. We also have a premium Wi-Fi option with faster speed and unlimited devices for $9.99 per day.
Transportation
Park Central New York is located at 870 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019, in Midtown Manhattan. We are situated directly across from Carnegie Hall and just two blocks from Central Park.
We do not offer free shuttle service from the airport, but you are welcome to arrange transport ahead of time.
Reservation
48 hours before check-in, so 4pm 2 days prior to arrival. Other cancellation policies may apply to special promotions or rates. Will my card be charged at time of reservation? If you use a debit/credit card to check in, a hold may be placed on your card account for the full anticipated amount to be owed to the hotel, including estimated incidentals, through your date of check-out and such hold may not be released for 72 hours from the date of check-out or longer at the discretion of your card issuer.
You may view your reservation through our website, by clicking “My Bookings,” filling in your information when prompted, then clicking Lookup.
You will receive an email confirmation after booking. On that confirmation there is a button to change or cancel your reservation.
The minimum age to check into the room is 21.
No, the hotel does not have accessible rooms that connect. The hotel does provide TTY equipment upon request.
We do not provide rollaway beds due to restrictions with the fire code. We do however, offer playpacks in select rooms.

Yes, dining options at Park Central New York include Twenty-Sevens, a lobby bar and lounge and Central Market, a grab-and-go fine foods market featuring a selection of fresh and flavorful bites such as Nespresso and Amy’s Bread. Open daily from 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Park Central New York is located just two blocks (approximately a 3-minute walk) from the southern entrance of Central Park.
Yes, the hotel is located approximately 10 blocks north of Times Square, offering a quieter stay while remaining within a 10-15 minute walk of the theater district.
The hotel offers convenient access to the N, Q, R, and W subway lines at the 57th Street station, located directly outside the hotel entrance. It is a short walk to the E and the A, C, B, D, 1 are located a few blocks away.
