Ice Skating In February

Who knew there were so many ice skating rinks in NYC? With the winter weather, it’s a fun reason to bundle up, leave the house, and sip hot cocoa while we wait for Spring.

Bryant Park

Top of our list is Bryant Park’s Winter Village, which knows how to celebrate the holidays. And post holidays, the rink fun continues through March 3rd. It is the perfect day for the family with things to do like bumper cars, broomball, and “exerskate” all on the ice! Of course, you can just pop-in and have an easy day at the rink. Bonus: It’s the only admission free rink in NYC if you bring your own skates.

Rockefeller Center

The better known rink, The Rink at Rockefeller Center is located steps away from the Theatre District and Times Square. The rink is open until April with sessions running all day. Don’t want to plan? You’re in luck with their curated packages you can pick from to make a typical day of ice skating memorable and unique. Choose from Afternoon tea, breakfast, or if you’re thinking big - an engagement on the ice!

Chelsea Piers Indoor Rink

Last on our list is the indoor rink at Chelsea Pier located at Pier 61. The perfect rink for enjoying ice skating without the chilly weather. Open year round, this rink offers general skating sessions for whatever your skill level. And with Chelsea Market close by, you can grab a meal or shopping post skate with beautiful views of the Hudson along the way.

Strap on some skates and before you know it Spring will be here.
