New York City Things To Do in January

Suffering from a holiday hangover? The ‘hair of the dog’ is the cure. Before the skating rinks, holiday lights, and winter villages get torn down, have one last shot of holiday spirit.

Sak Window Display

More than a display, Sak’s partnered with Christian Dior for a Zodiac themed visual show on the face of the building. And window displays around the building show spectacular imagination and creativity. Last day is January 5th, so hopefully you read this post before the last day!

Skating Rinks

Get one last wear out of that holiday sweater and head to the rink for a final loop on the ice to start 2024.

NYBG GLOW

Experience the outdoor light exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden for their last two dates: January 6th and 13th. Bonus: Tickets also give access to the Holiday Train Show - a miniature village with intricate train track traveling around the town of NYC landmarks.

Nutcracker Rouge

Santa has already come and gone, time for being a little naughty at this Nutcracker themed burlesque show. Dancing gingerbread, sugar plum fairies, aerial performances and everything in between. Last performance is January 28th.

Rolf’s German Restaurant

A quintessential holiday experience but always crowded and overbooked during the holidays. Rolf’s is decorated for Christmas year round to enjoy the holiday season well past December. Get one last mulled wine or eggnog cocktail in before you hang up the tinsel.
